Spring is always a great time for such flowers Keith -but its hardly Springtime yet. Great capture here, you have handled the difficult contrast well. Lots of our new garden daffs have already been blown to the ground but I see them everywhere I go now, from the car. Bluebells next for me perhaps?
Cheers, Herb

OHHHHH!!! Absolute perfection, Keith. Yellow blows out so easily, but your color and light balance are just right here. Glowing with lots of detail and not blown out! WELL DONE! Love the dof and yummy bokeh too. So pretty. We have a place a few miles away called Daffodil Hill...ACRES of them. I've got a folder groaning with the weight of all the pictures I took there one day. I end up running and screaming when I open it and am hit in the face by all of those pictures! :D

Thank you so much for the comments on my mushroom pair...lol, you are so silly! :D I'm glad everyone enjoyed my closer-and-closer pictures! And I'm happy you liked the colorful panorama...it's hard to resist pictures when the sky looks like that. :)

I can but think about Wordsworth...

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

beautiful to see them now
