How beautiful...This is such a perfect picture, Keith! The droplets on the translucent petals is terrific. The light and soft bokeh, combined with you perfect vignetting, really pops the blossom out of the picture. Such a pretty sight.

Thank you so much for making my day with your wonderful comments about my sporophytes. I'm delighted that you are as enchanted with these little "villagers" as I am. Seems like all you need to do is get good focus and you'll have a winner image. Such fun to see them!

I loved hearing what you had to say about the archive images I put in as notes. It's such a nice way to dig up past pictures for people to enjoy. I'd been on Flickr for such a long time that I have droves of pictures in my archives which I'd showcased on Flickr. So as I can, I try to bring them into the limelight via note insets.

By the way, the Cobra Quintet picture that you love so much has another picture to go with it... www.ipernity.com/doc/290645/17756145
I was just as smitten as you are about them. I found them growing out of an old burn pile and saw their orange color against the ash. I had to basically put my eyeballs right on them to see that they were like little serpents--so cool!
