(As some of you know) I have a collection of vintage Mattel dolls. This one is called "Rah Rah." She is Mattel's little cheerleader Skediddle Kiddle from 1969. Although she's only 4 inches tall, and almost 50 years old, she can still do a high kick for team Mattel. (What a gal :)

I am pairing her up with a song called "Cheerleader" by the band "Grizzly Bear" from their 2009 album "Veckatimest."

Love this :-) I was tempted to do a high kick but that is, maybe, not such a hot idea.....'cos I might topple over :-))) A very clever musical match for 'Sight and Sound'. Surprisingly I do know a bit about Grizzly Bear in so far as Daniel Rossen was part of 'The Gene Clark No Other Band' .... Daniel sings "No Other" at the 12:27 point and "Some Misunderstanding" at the 29:51 point Thanks so much for posting, Karen.

...Okay, I finally got to see it and that was great. Thank you again. We can only hope that somewhere, somehow, Gene Clark can feel the love that is still here for him.
