Great area to photograph Norm and of course the monochromatic tones avoid any distraction that "color" may have presented as your eye follows the vanishing point created by the wall of bays,! :)

Thanks Chris! Outside of the colors worn by people ... it's a pretty gray place on a very gray day! It wasn't much of a stretch to go to B/W. That area use to contain the coveted pit row bleachers ... another victim of progress!

Many thanks Paul! I grew up an hour from the track and I've been going there for years! Now ... I'm less than four miles away and I can hear the cars practicing and racing from my front porch. During my college days I had an apartment where I could watch them entering turn one from my balcony.
