Those old cameras look great =) And they even feel different. I have few old cameras as well, to decorate our living room =D

Great shot, Norm! The camera is very nice as well. I see the "Love" sculpture peeking from behind the glass.

This is a great idea and photo Norm. I like your camera and your desk. (My grandpa was a photographer and now I'm wondering what kind of cameras he had....)

Thanks! :-) The desk was my Grandfather's ... and Grandma was the photographer, but she just shot with a Brownie.

Karen's Place club has replied to Indycaver (Norm) club
Really? My dad had a Brownie, and try as I might, I could hardly get it to work. It was so awkward looking down into it to take the shot.

Not all Brownies are the same, but it does take a little practice to use one of the Brownie Reflexes. Several of my Yashicas of reflex cameras.

That's interesting Norm. I just remember looking down, trying to line up the shot and it was almost never right lol

The trick is to never look up at what you're trying to photograph ... it pulls you off image. Reflex cameras have been the first choice of professional photographers for nearly as long as they have been around.

Yes ... for a little bit! I never did find they'd been on Flickr Explored until way after the fact and I probably wouldn't look for them here if it weren't for the Sunday Challenge! :-)
