Prehistoric. + Pip.
The prehistoric remains here include a large cairn which has been badly robbed of its stones,This is at Kintraw, in Argyll and Bute, Scotland,
But for Iperrnity purposes it hopefully serves as a wall,
The Pip shows another part of the site, Which includes the 4-meter-High Standing Stone of Kintraw.
It has been suggested that the stone marked the backsight position for viewing the setting sun at the winter solstice,
HWW to everyone.

The scene is really beautiful........I love the various green and brown hues in the landscape and the detail you've captured in the remains of the cairn. The sheep's bum is nicely placed in the frame andI like the patch of sky and clouds too.
The PiP is just as beautiful............unlike Maggie, I see nothing "naughty" at all :-))). The colours in the landscape are just as lovely and I'm impressed you got some definition in the clouds too. There's always something mysterious about standing stones, wherever they are!
A fantastic pair of shots sir! *****
Roger (Grisly) club has replied to Keith Burton clubThe area has so many prehistoric monuments and historical sites, many folk don't bother to stop at slightly isolated stones like this,
Thanks for sharing with our UK Landscape Photography Group , Herb

Bonne et agréable journée.
Roger (Grisly) club has replied to Malik Raoulda clubA very nice picture, which I like very much!
Wonderful and interesting composition
It has always been the way that old structures are robbed of stones for building new. Much easier than quarrying and carrying them!!
Best Wishes, a nice weekend, and stay safe!!
