I really like this scene. Looks rather empty of people...

Just thinking about what Amelia has said, I seem to remember this place from a few years ago.. I certainly have been there photographing the railway. As I remember there is different ownership of the land above high water, and different rights of way on it,, But certainly on the day of your picture it has no sense!!

This gate always makes me smile, - I can imagine someone with a wicked sense of humour hiding in the undergrowth and watching to see if anybody actually bothered to open it instead of walking around it!! It's only use really is for getting a better view of the approaching trains. HFF and have a good weekend.
