I wish my one of my cameras would do this, but then I wouldn't be able to curse at a computer program if they did.

This is cool Gillian... the frame just suits the scene, I agree with Yvonne, your banana looks a bit worrying!

Thanks Wendi. Not sure what you mean by worrying?

My first Selective Colour composition had a lime which looked even more strange, so I replaced it with a banana :-)

So cool. Love the way you kept the stem on banana in color and the stems on the strawberries black and white.

It's funny how color affects your feeling about food. A white banana seems like it would taste so different from a yellow one. I guess that's like cheese too. Anyway, very nicely done Gillian. I like the one with the lime too.

quite surreal, makes me wonder what flavour a white banana has . . .

I love the idea, the composition and the overall technique Gillian, but I too find that banana a little worrying ... somehow I don't think white bananas will catch on! ;)

Great idea. Multiple fruits and only one colour. It just shows how we are used to see bananas as yellow

Great idea and shot. It seems funny seeing the green on the strawberries being grey.

Thanks everyone, great to have your feedback. The white banana has received a mixed response. I saw it as fun art, didn't even think about the appetising point of view :-)

Superb!
I also put my 'explores' in an album and people have said; "what a great idea!". Seems only logical to me (and you too, it would appear!).
A very pleasing composition here. I just wish I hadn't become horribly allergic to strawberries (and radishes) about 20 years ago!
