This was a fun challenge, great to learn new techniques :-)

That's what I like about this group, new challenges, often taking one out of one's comfort zone. For the most part, the members have given every challenge a try, while there has been times when someone just out flat said no I won't do it, it seems for those who do, they often find they like what the challenge presented and got hooked on something. Of course, there are some of us who still have a challenge that we dread showing up. lol Glad you had fun with this one! :)

Very creative and beautiful, Gillian. Neither of the photos would amount to much by itself, but together they complement each other. The tones are beautiful and are perfect for the subject and neither image overwhelms the other. It is not my kind of photo, but I can appreciate the skill involved in putting it together and the end result, which is pleasing. I can't think of any way in which this could be improved.
