Nice to see a little room being given to nature. The grasses are lovely.

Thanks, Jean, for reminding me to add this to my Rus in urbe album. We've been short of public flowers, though, this summer.

Yellow posts, gray pillar - and then the real, live tree, so slender by comparison. Perhaps an allegory of the fragility of nature once man has taken over the space. But only there - otherwise nature can hold her own, and once we are gone, it will soon take over again. And beings this is an airport, relatively deserted, maybe nature is taking the upper hand?

I find bright yellow posts very appealing and have taken several shots of them over the years. Just one of my minor, inexplicable attractions. So, I also like these. The other yellow accents are good, too.

I like them, too, Diane, and the proliferation of yellow over recent years -- yellow safety vests, yellow fire hydrants etc. The grey cities of Central and Southwestern Ontario need the colour.

Bob thinks it's an airport, based on what I can read from the sign, I think shopping center. His comment is otherwise apt, I would add that the blue heap on the right (homeless person/belongings?) add another element of melancholy. Also, it appears to have rained.

Yup, it's a supermarket, Sarah. The blue heap was moving, so I assume a person was under there, but perhaps they were only waiting for someone (having forgotten their mask, for example).

Great Set !
It feels like an urban painting, if that exists.
Happy new week John.

Thanks, Joe. In this part of the world escaping rectangles is difficult.
