Ah, but is it orange? Interesting textures, whichever. And keeping the detail in the white band gives it a "He knows what he's doing" quality and adds a lot of character.

Orange is on of those colours no one agrees about, Bob. People often call pink what I call light orange -- salmon is orange to me but pink to other people. Of course these colours are very close together in the spectrum. I just checked and Wikipedia says salmon flesh varies from orange to red. I would have liked more detail in the white patch, so I'm pleased you noticed the detail.
