HFF - Erzabbau
Die Erzmine bei Minas de Riotinto gehört zu den ältesten Minen Europas. Hier wurde ab dem 19.Jh. verstärkt nach Kupfer geschürft. Im Jahr 2001 wurden die Minen geschlossen. Doch auf Grund der steigenden Kupferpreise, ist seit 2016 eine Reaktivierung der Gruben wieder in Gange.
