SF downtown Transbay center (#0399)

Construction of the new Transbay Transit Center. The new transit center will be approx 1/4 mile long, will serve 11 bus and rail lines with freeway ramps for the buses and underground tunnels for the rail; it will be topped by a city park. I could not find an explantion of the design, but am guessing that the lattice-like structure is so that the bus depot areas can be open air.
