The structures in the lower portion of the picture (lower left quarter) are the site of a power station built in 1889. Across the river, with the reddish pipes coming into the river, is the powerhouse built in 1893 and rebuilt in 1953.

I'll have to check this out! I've seen the falls from the overlook off I-205, but I haven't been over on this side and didn't know this was here.
