Sunday 8 August 2021 – The ‘Buses Festival’ rally held at the East of England Showground, Peterborough.

Thorne’s Independent Coaches of Hemingborough near Selby operate OKP 980 preserved as Maidstone & District Motor Services CO252. It has Beadle bodywork mounted on Leyland mechanical running units taken from a pre-World War 2 Leyland TD7. The re-built vehicle entered service in this form with M&D in March 1952.
