Buses Festival, Peterborough - 8 Aug 2021 (P1090347)

Sunday 8 August 2021 – The ‘Buses Festival’ rally held at the East of England Showground, Peterborough.

Preserved former Alexander Northern NPE90 (GSO 90V), an Alexander Y type bodied Leyland Leopard built in 1979 and registered for service in January 1980.

The ‘Bluebird’ name had originated before the Alexander empire was split up. Whilst this seemed quite at home on Midland’s blue vehicles it was a little out of place on Fife’s red and Northern’s yellow vehicles. Stagecoach still uses the name today.
