Sampson A137 RMJ in Cambridge - 8 Jun 1990

Sampson A137 RMJ in Cambridge - 8 Jun 1990
Friday 8 June 1990 – Sampson Coaches and Travel of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire A137 RMJ was a Duple Caribbean bodied Leyland Tiger new to Travellers Coach Company (Cavalier) of Hounslow, Middlesex in May 1984.

In 1986 it was bought by Premier Travel Services and was later transferred to Sampson – after both companies became owned by AJS.

It was seen at Drummer Street, Cambridge working on hire to Cambridge Coach Services which had only been formed a couple of weeks earlier (on 20 May 1990) and was also owned by AJS. The livery style is that which was introduced by the National Bus Company for its various coaching subsidiaries.
