DSCF4627 Bus stop in Silver Street, Cambridge - 4 Aug 2016

Thursday 4 August 2016 (1004) – Whippet Coaches, owned by Australian based Transit Systems which also owns Tower Transit in London, began operating a new service in Cambridge on 23 July 2016 branded ‘Universal’ and using service letter ‘U’ which replaced Stagecoach (Cambus) ‘Uni4’ service. This bus stop was in Silver Street. (The illuminated information display which was working perfectly included the times of both service U and the City Sightseeing tour operated by Stagecoach East (Cambus) which departs from the same point.
