L'ancienne fuie du château, aujourd'hui maison d'habitation. In a haven of greenery, this former dovecote, is today used as dwelling house.

This moated castle dates from the 16th century. A dovecote rises in the peninsula adjoining the court. Its unusual size proves (by the number of holes of pigeons it contains) that 800 pairs of pigeons nested there. The property is impressive: 2 hectares of roof, 1 h of moat and more than 5,000 m² of floor.

These are the rocky banks of the old quarry lake, also called "the lagoon". Voici les rives rocheuses de l'ancien lac de carrière, aussi appelé "le lagon".

Le manoir de l'Isle, logis du 15ème s. porta alors bien son nom : il fut ceint de douves remplies d'eau. Built in the 15th C.(altered in the 17th), it was surrounded by a moat - a part of which can be always seen today. The original entrance to the château was along the 800 m pathway lined with beech trees on both sides. The 16th C. St Anne's chapel (1st PiP) with its bell from 1646 underwent changes in the 17th C. There is a small haxgonal steeple and the clock still has the original mechanism and is always working!

Il ne s'agit pas de baies, mais de petites pommes décoratives rouge-orangées qui restent sur l’arbre longtemps après la chute des feuilles. PATCH OF WINTER COLOR These are not berries, but small decorative orange-red apples that remain on the tree long after the leaves have fallen.

Steeped in history, this place dates from the 14th C. At first it was an inn ("Au Cheval-Blanc"), then it welcomed Victor Hugo and Juliette Drouet in the night of June 20 to 21, 1836. After the place became a restaurant "À la table ronde". Today this typical and authentic pub, located in one of the most beautiful houses in the center of Lassay, is a bit out of time, fitting well with the small medieval town. LE PUB A VICTOR PENDANT LE CREPUSCULE Chargé d'histoire ce lieu date du 14ème siècle. D'abord auberge du Cheval-Blanc, il a accueilli Victor Hugo et Juliette Drouet la nuit du 20 au 21 juin 1836. Le lieu est ensuite devenu un restaurant "À la table ronde". Aujourd'hui ce pub typique et authentique, situé dans une des plus belles maisons du centre de Lassay, est un peu hors du temps, tout à fait en cohérence avec la petite cité médiévale.

Entre la rivière et les remparts, un beau jardin où il fait bon flâner. Between the river and the ramparts, a beautiful garden where it's pleasant to stroll.

Le château de Mirvault est dans la même famille depuis 1573 et restauré au 19ème siècle. On ne peut être que séduit par le charme de cette demeure et son grand parc au bord de la Mayenne. Château de Mirvault has been in the same family since 1573 and restored in the 19th century. People are seduced by the charm of this house and its large park on the banks of the Mayenne.

Le ruisseau du Bois Beranger a ici un air automnal, mais à côté, les jonquilles fleurissent (voir PiP)... Little creek in the grove. Here with an autumnal look, but next to it, the daffodils bloom (see PiP)...
