Le viel arbre devant la plage...

... et les falaises de Champeaux dans la baie du Mont St Michel. Au pied de ce massif, à marée basse, on y trouve le plus grand récif d’hermelles d’Europe, certains pouvant atteindre jusqu’à 1,50 m de hauteur. Ces colonies de petits vers marins confectionnent, sur les roches, des tubes d’env. 30 cm constitués de grains de sable et débris de coquilles.
Le PiP montre la vue vers la gauche. C'est encore marée basse, mais la mer remonte.

THE OLD TREE IN FRONT OF THE BEACH ... and the cliffs of Champeaux in the bay of Mont St Michel. At the foot of this massif at low tide, you can find the largest funnel worm reef in Europe, some of which can be up to 1.50 m high. These colonies of small sea worms form around 30 cm long tubes on the rocks, made of grains of sand and remains of mussels.

DER ALTE BAUM VOR DEM STRAND... und die Klippen von Champeaux in der Bucht des Mont St Michel. Am Fusse dieses Massivs findet man bei Ebbe das größte Trichterwurm-Riff Europas, das teilweise bis zu 1,50 m hoch werden kann. Diese Kolonien kleiner Meereswürmer bilden auf den Felsen rund 30 cm lange Röhren aus Sandkörnern und Muschelresten.
