That is really nice of you Smiley. Thank you very much. In truth I think the marshes lend themselves to shots like this quite well. The water is a constant and pretty much follows the path, or maybe the other way around! It is a lovely peaceful place, although off limits at the moment sadly. Have a good weekend and stay well.

A beautiful shot. Lovely composition. The swans may be nesting now at Birnie Nature Reserve. There aren't so many birds in my garden at the moment. I think they are all off courting.

Thank you very much Jean. It was a treat seeing the swan on her nest. I imagine the reserve is out of bounds now too. I am sure the birds will soon be back once they have young to feed and will eventually bring their babies with them. We have plenty of pigeons looking for food, although they too are spending as much time preening and looking for romance! It is keeping us entertained nicely.

That's good, Carol. I think we can understand now how our pets feel when they're confined. :)

We're also doing fine here. Our property borders 100 acres of forest so we can stil get outside without ever seeing anyone else. We are very fortunate.

That sounds wonderful Karen. I am pleased you are still able to go out and get some fresh air.
We don't take chances as it is built up area and there are still too many who ignore the lockdown, mostly the young who think tey are invincible, or mothers you take their children to visit friends and relatives. I don't mind being indoors really, but I do miss my walks.
