The five bar gate prevents vehicular access to the estate track but allows walkers easy access (via a bridge) to the hills and glens on far side of the River Etive.

It looks an extra wide 5 bar gate Doug. Those clouds remind me of when I went to the top of Snowdon a few years ago....couldn't see a thing, but loved it! Love this shot too.

Thanks very much for your visit and kind comments Rosa. The gate may be a tad wider than the normal field gate, perhaps because the estate track leads to at least two cottages and larger vehicles my occasionally require access.
