First snow of the winter, East Ayton, North Yorkshire

Yes a few flurry's today here in East Anglia, did not come to much. "Any tips on keeping the snow looking white in your shots Doug"? mine tend to look greyish.

I have the same problem at times. I guess the snow reflects the shades/colours present at the time. I have found things can sometimes be improved by altering the white balance, but their are of course limits to what can be achieved. That's about all I can suggest I'm afraid Maurice.

Enlarging as the auhtor suggested... just plunged back into the magic atmosphere of my first winter in Yorkshire: well .... blah blah ..years ago;-) During a trip while being in Cambridge , as a student , in order to try to learn English!!

looks good and east is best for snow. it was very cold this morning but only a few snow flakes in my corner of the peak district
