... sieht dieser ca. 1 cm große Große Distelrüssler (Larinus sturnus) aus, der sich beim Fotografieren in einem Blatt einer Großen Klette (Arctium lappa) verstecken wollte. Dank beharrlichen Wartens wagte er einen Blick nach draußen und so gelang der Schnappschuss.
Die Larven entwickeln sich in den Blütenköpfen verschiedener Korbblütler, z.B. Arctium lappa (so im Bild). In Mitteleuropa kommt die Art südlich der Mainlinie häufig vor, am Nordrand der Mittelgebirge dagegen selten.
