Mitbringsel von einem Waldspaziergang - Souvenirs from a walk in the forest - PiP

Bei einer Waldwanderung fand ich heute in einem sonnigen Eichenmischwald mehrere blühende Exemplare der Türkenbundlilie (Lilium martagon), siehe PiP. Durch ihre auffällig geformten Blüten und große Wuchshöhe gilt sie als eine der stattlichsten in Europa heimischen Lilien. Die im PiP gezeigten Pflanzen sind ca. 120 cm hoch. Nach den Gewitterregen heute Nacht haben sich die Blüten geöffnet und einige Wassertropfen hängen noch an der Pflanze. In den Abend- und Nachtstunden fliegen vor allem Nachtfalter wie Schwärmer die stark duftenden Blüten an und bestäuben sie dabei. Achtung: Die Pflanze ist in allen Teilen stark giftig, der Verzehr kann Todesfolgen haben!
Der Türkenbund ist in vielen deutschen Bundesländern gefährdet und nach der Bundesartenschutzverordnung besonders geschützt. Noch mehr Informationen:

During a forest walk today I found several flowering specimens of the Turk's cap lily (Lilium martagon) in a sunny mixed oak forest, see PiP. With its strikingly shaped flowers and tall growth, it is considered one of the most stately lilies native to Europe. The plants shown in the PiP are about 120 cm high. After the thundershowers tonight the flowers have opened and some drops of water are still hanging on the plant. In the evening and night hours, mainly moths such as hawkmoths will fly to the strongly scented flowers and pollinate them.
Caution: All parts of the plant are highly poisonous and consumption can be fatal.
