Lowland moor at the head of the Kurzras valley at an altitude of about 2,300 metres. Such small moors are formed by groundwater accumulations. The strongly fluctuating water level promotes aeration and thus humification. ( Photographed on the descent from the Larix Ferrata.)

Niedermoor im Talschluss von Kurzras auf etwa 2.300 Metern Höhe. Solche kleinen Moore entstehen durch Grundwasseransammlungen. Der stark schwankende Waserspiegel fördert die Durchlüftung und damit die Humifizierung. (Fotografiert beim Abstieg von der Larix-Ferrata.)

That is lovely terrain..and I enjoyed the video. As you know, I am also one who loves adventure. That looks really idyllic, and requiring strength and fitness…but so enjoyable in that environment.

Die Landschaft hier erinnert an die Märchenwiese im Westhimalaya. Der Unterschied ist vor allem, dass man das hintere Schnalstal wesentlich einfacher erreicht. Allerdings sind die Berge rundum auch nicht ganz so hoch.
