ROSE

my mind defoliates like a rose
petals fall one by one and draw the puzzle of life
on the ground
everything is lost by the wind blow
each piece flies to its nook
if the puzzle is stable in its deathbed
someone passing says there is a rose there
in a condition other than a flower
another life
maybe pressed between sheets of a book
without soul
the flat print reminds us that
life goes on in the rosebush

ROSA

meu pensamento desfolha como uma rosa
pétalas caem uma a uma e desenham no solo
o puzzle da vida
tudo se perde no sopro do vento
cada peça voa para o seu recanto
se o puzzle está estável no seu leito de morte
algém que passa diz estar ali uma rosa
noutra condição que não flor
outra vida
talvez prensada entre folhas de um livro
sem alma
espalmada estampa a lembra-nos que
a vida continua na roseira
