Olá minha amiga "Le vert des rivières", muito grato pelo teu "emocionado" comentário! Pelos vistos falas um pouco a minha lingua. Esta citação pretende ser uma homenagem ao maior poeta Português (que também escreveu em Inglês), Fernando Pessoa, falecido em 1935, no Hospital de São Luís dos Franceses, em Lisboa. A sua última frase, escrita a lápis, em Inglês, diz: "I know not what tomorrow will bring".

...if you love Pessoa you are "lumineuse comme lui"...in French, English, Portuguese...it doesn't matter!...Christel...what is important is the clever sensibility and the poetic lighthouse coming from his texts into our perception of life its beauty, mysteries and anguishes...

Armando( posso te chamar assim, pelo primeiro nome?) quero que me desculpes, mas hás de compreender que és responsável por isto, por me permitir adentrar em um ambiente que me faz supor seja teu familiar ( vejo os quadros com as poesias na parede). Ia te perguntar alguma coisa sobre Pessoa, mas me contive, poderia parecer muito evidente. Agora fico mais à vontade de te revelar a inquantificável identificação que tenho com sua poesia . Recentemente adquiri uma tradução em inglês com poemas seus entre os quais me interessava, particularmente, Ode Marítima. Mas, infelizmente devo também revelar que conheço pouco a poesia portuguesa, além de Pessoa chamam-me a atenção as poesias de Jorge Sena. Agora, graças a esta interface sofisticada da ipernity ( confesso que não sei exatamente como entrei) posso dizer que conheço também o poeta Armando Taborda. Só estou aguardando o Quinto Livro.

Evidentemente que sou o Armando. Julgo que não terás qualquer dificuldade em encontrar a obra de vários poetas portugueses, incluindo o FP, em São Paulo (por exemplo na Livraria Coimbra, propriedade de um português) ou no Rio. Quanto a conheceres o poeta AT, é verdade que poderás continuar a ler-me na Ipernity, onde por certo editarei outros textos. Um abraço.

Tento ouvir na minha cabeça Pessoa em francês ou em inglês (que também domino), mas não concordo contigo: só em português este texto ganha o seu pleno significado... talvez seja precisa a alma portuguesa, esta forma de estar que tão pouco deve a um Descartes, na qual o "mektub" dos árabes está ligado a uma indefinível saudade latente. Somos antes de tudo sensitivos e empíricos?

De qualquer forma relembro-te que o FP escreveu originalmente em Português, Inglês e Francês.

É a esta frase tua que me referia: "Fernando Pessoa en version Française c'est aussi beau comme le texte original, parce que les deux langues sont très similaires".
FP de facto escreveu em francês como em inglês, essa versatilidade é faculdade marcante da sua personalidade. Mas uma coisa é um texto escrito directamente numa língua, outra é a adaptação que dele se faz, mesmo se for pelo próprio.
Sei por mim que escrevi um sketch para divertir o meu marido (que é francês), em francês saiu-me bem, a minha versão portuguesa não tem o mesmo sabor apesar de ser a nossa a minha língua materna e de coração, a única na qual posso dar plena dimensão aos meus sentimentos.
