How was the cost in living in 2014 ?

How much did you pay for your hotel room as for an example ? Can we find lodging at 30 euros with wifi and private bath in Palermo ? Can we eat for 4 euros or around ?

I payed a whole tourist package comprising fly & drive and hotels with breakfast - complete autonomy between overnight places. I wouldn't know which amounts are comprised in the whole payment. About lodging in Palermo, accede to Google Maps, zoom in over Palermo, and click on the symbols of lodging: either you get a price displayed on the clicked spots or on the left side of the screen. "Beautiful Life B&B" displays € 45; "Hotel Tonic" displays € 38 (single?, double?). Usually it also depends on high season and low season. About meals until € 4, it will be difficult; a snack and a drink for quick lunch is possible for less than € 10.
