Thanks very much, Rosa! The walking path doesn't lead down the steps, they are all secured by gates as the owners don't want the public to steal their grapes or have parties in their vineyards...

Schönen Dank, Franz! Das meiste ist Handarbeit, da geht maschinell nicht viel,,,,
Der Spaziergänger kommt nicht an diese Treppen, da sind Tore davor. Der offizielle Weg führt quer am Hang entlang- reicht aber, um aufwärts außer Puste zu kommen und abwärts die Knie zu spüren;-)

I very much empathize with you as regards this statement, Gudrun, 'to get out of breath uphill and to feel the knees downhill ;-) That would be me too. A pleasant area for a ramble though. It's a pity that it was spoiled somewhat by youths. They seem to be the same worldwide.
