Oh that's a shame Gudrun. I visited Germany at Easter time and thought all the decorations looked beautiful. I am pleased to say that more people are making the effort here as well now. I don't think they could compete with what I saw over there though :-)

Thank you so much, Rosa! Breakages do happen.. Yes, Easter decorations have always been traditional in Germany. As kids we used to make two little holes into eggs, blow them out and paint them.Lots of scrambled egg in the run up to Easter;-)

Auweija, da hätte ich als Kind aber mächtig Ärger bekommen. Meine Oma aus dem Spreewald war der Eier Mal- und Kratzkunst zugetan und Ihre zeitintensiven Kunstwerke waren der Familie heilig!!!
