Thank you so much, Amelia! Yes, that was rather typical, they don't think twice about mixing old and new:-) National dress is compulsory in schools, offices and temples, old people often wear it every day.

Thanks very much, Rosa! The dress is just a huge bit of fabric that's wrapped around and fastened with a pin and belt and a short jacket on top. Quite difficult to do and rather uncomfortable;-)
