Gudrun club has replied to Amelia clubYes, I also use varifocals most of the time but still take them off for reading and I have special glasses for computer work which are set to a slightly different distance.
Xata club has replied to Gudrun clubIt is amazing, I can see from far away to close and the smallest details.
Inconvenients: eyes are dryer than they used to be, so I have to put drops on them many times a day.
The first year it requires some adaption to flare in the night, you have the same problem than with varifocals, in fact your eyes are equipped with varifocals but inner ones. But brain adapts and now I don't even notice.
It was expensive because the insurance just paid a small part, but 3 years after I would have spent more with the spectacle's lenses, so I am saving money now!
Gudrun club has replied to Xata clubI'm not sure an operation would work with my eyes, I have quite pronounced astigmatism which also needs correcting plus my eyesight keeps changing. Anyway, I'm so used to wearing glasses it's not really inconvenient. Sunglasses thankfully aren't needed as often as in Portugal:-)
