SSC: "Find something red, shoot it, but then you change the image into black and white."

Shot in colour and converted with Silver Efex Pro. I played with tone curves and used a green filter.

In the note is an alternative take, a letterbox fridge magnet

Complementary colours, it darkens the red and lightens the green. Just as a red filter will make red very light and darkens a blue sky:-)
