Danke vielmals, Udo! Ja, kalt war es schon ein bisschen, deswegen war's ja so bunt. Die warme Luft, die dann den Regen auf den gefrorenen Boden gebracht hat, war weniger gut, aber zum Glück schnell durchgezogen.

Herzlichen Dank, Tanja! Vögel (Dreizehenmöwen) hat es dort in Massen, meist sind sie aber bei der Fischfabrik, der hatte sich verirrt;-) Der Himmel hat echt eine ganze Weile gebrannt und dann war schlagartig Ende und der Rest des Tages nur durch den Eisregen bemerkenswert;-)

Thanks a lot, Amelia! I didn't fancy the ice rain either and stayed on the boat during our stop at Honningsvag. I didn't even go outside onto the decks because even there every surface was ice-covered. The buses to the North Cape returned half an hour late, they had to mount snow chains on top of their spikes but they made it back safely.
