Ce n'est pas un masque mais un "passeport" qui permettait aux différents membres d'une ethnie de voyager dans le pays (ici la Guinée Conakry) et de se reconnaître.

En réalité il s'agit d'un "passeport" qui permettait aux différents membres d'une ethnie de se reconnaître lorsqu'ils se déplaçaient dans le pays. Celui-ci est originaire de Guinée Conakry. De par sa fonction il est de petite taille et tient dans une poche.
