Robin - Erithacus rubecula

This little Robin - Erithacus rubecula - was so friendly. I spotted him and stopped to watch as he was bobbing around quite happily, then he jumped down onto the roots of a tree just a couple of feet away from me. He seemed quite unafraid and relaxed as I crouched down so close to him.... and then found that I had to slowly back off to get focus for this shot on the 70-300ii I had on the camera. They are such lovely birds. Seen near Carr Mill Dam, St Helens, Merseyside.
