Often, obviously, at these drawing sessions I get a bit whimsical, the effort one puts forth can get intense and sketching some almost cartoon images helps keep things loose. Did this at last nights life drawing session. Alaska willow charcoal.

Sketched? Drawn? Painted? OK I guess rendered is the best description of the process so... Rendered at this week's life drawing session with ink and water soluble oil pastels on 11 by 14 inch Bristol vellum paper. The model, a delightful youngster, liked it enough that I gave it to her.
