We've made several visits here over the years, but this is our first "post Covid" one.
After paying our money, we had a walk around outside and then went around inside both buildings - whilst trying to avoid a couple of rain showers and a bunch of young people with little or no idea of social distancing - rather disconcerting as at least one of them had a distinct cough. The very informative displays inside the main building are very well done, and someone has very carefully packed a considerable number of small planes into "A" Block [which reminded me of packing hangers at gliding clubs !]. Being able to get into several of the external exhibits was "interesting" - and something of a challenge at times. We didn't go down to the Vulcan this time, as we have been in both this one and the one at Sunderland on other visits ...
