Dressed in the No1 uniform, including the WRAF cap. Rank shown is Flight Lieutenant [abbr - Flt.Lt.].
[Currently missing the black handbag, black lace-up or court shoes and tan coloured tights/stockings].
Whilst the material was a lot more comfortable than previous versions, sometimes it was still a challenge to get a good fit if the wearer wasn't the "standard" build / shape. Even more of a problem with the even less tailored fit of the zipped jacket of a No2 / working uniform.
Note the model aircraft in the various cases ...
