Analoge radio is op de weg terug, veel mensen luisteren via digitale radio, internet of hebben hun eigen muziekdienst. De getoonde FM-frequentie is van NPO Radio3FM, voorheen Hilversum 3 of Radio 3, de popzender van de publieke omroep. In een groot deel van het land is deze zender op deze frequentie te ontvangen.
Het nummer ‘Radio’ van de Dolly Dots is veelvuldig te horen geweest op deze zender.
De afstemmer is van ca. 1990, ik heb gepoogd een sfeer vanuit die tijd op te roepen d.m.v. de belichting en kleuren.

Analogue radio is these days on its way back as many people listen via digital radio, internet or using their own music service. The shown FM-frequency is in The Netherlands used by NPO Radio3FM, formerly Hilversum 3 or later Radio 3, the popmusic radiostation of public radio. This station can be received on this frequency in a big part of the country.
The song ‘Radio’ by the Dolly Dots was a big hit on this, and many other foreign, stations.
The tuner is of around 1990, I tried to emulate an atmospere of those days by means of lighting and colours.
