2 more pictures above! :)

Here is our little fallen egg in a group hug with four chicken eggs! (I found this tiny egg on our road one morning and brought it up to the house to take pictures of it. We love birds and this made us sad, but we took pictures to give it meaning and immortality! :) We think it was from a mourning dove, as there are many who live here, but we can't say for certain.)

This image was taken by my husband, Steve Brien, on April 7, 2012.

Heide, have particularly liked this photo

It looks like an chicken-egg, but much smaller.

I thought at first that the wee egg was the 'normal' size one, and the others were ostrich or emu eggs!

The small egg is about the correct size to be a dove egg but all doves lay White eggs.
Did you paint it for your photo?

H - Marie mentions an undersized hens egg which reminds me that I saw once long ago a clutch of Jay eggs from a first time breeder, one egg although identical in marking was no larger than a sparrow egg whereas the rest were of normal size.
