A Surprise in the Forest [Explore]
While out taking pictures one day, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Holding very still, I waited. Emerging from behind a clump of moss, this tiny pair of mushrooms moved into the forest glade, looking around to make sure it was safe to come out. It appeared to be two friends, out for a stroll. The tall, slender one led the way, peering around and looking for any sign of movement. The short, stout one was very nervous and clung close to its brave friend. They glided through the tiny meadow like little forest spirits, and as they disappeared into the woods on the other side, I heard the sound of their laughter, like the sound of tiny bells.
Thanks to all of you who have visited and have left comments and favorites! I try to go to all of your pages within a day or two and is a highlight for me to see your beautiful photography! I've been buried in another project and haven't been able to leave comments for the last couple of days but I'm hoping to make some time today or tomorrow--thanks so much for your patience! :)
