101/365: "A man's house is his castle." ~ James Otis
I'm in San Francisco for the week, visiting my dad, and this is Day 6! I am so sorry that I don't have time to leave comments while I'm gone, but I really appreciate every one of your visits and comments! They mean the world to me. *hugs* Miss you guys!!!
No time to chat tonight! Ack!! So busy today helping my dad with quilts and so forth, and my oldest brother came to visit, which was so nice! This is a picture of my dad's house--his castle!--and flowers and plants I found in the front and back yard! :) Enjoy! :)
James Otis, Sr. (1702–1778) was a prominent lawyer in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. His sons James Otis, Jr. and Samuel Allyne Otis also rose to prominence, as did his daughter Mercy Otis Warren. He was often called "Colonel James" because of his militia rank and also to distinguish between him and his famous son. Wikipedia: James Otis, Sr.
