My mother's school group in the Lake District heading up to the White Scar Caves (it says on the back).
Here they are fording the river on stepping stones - and in the background, stone walls as far as the eye can see.

I'm glad you told me of your hesitation and appreciate that. I did think the stepping stones/girls qualified but absolutely respect your eye in this. That's what admins/curators are supposed to do!
