Abandoned Building, E. 4th Street, Cleveland, Ohio

Lonely and abandoned,
In the twilight of its life,
The shuttered building stands,
Its thriving past a faded memory.
Yet it dares hope with painted vibrance
for an extended lifeline;
and for as long as it stands,
It dreams of rebirth and renewal.

Cette affiche pourrait très très bien convenir dans notre bassin industriel de Liège ou tout ( ferme) alors que certaines usines pourraient encore être rentable ! hélas on laisse tout aller !

It is always sad when businesses close and the buildings remain empty. the painted windows are a nice idea and if nothing else it helps the area by making it look more attractive.
They trialed a similar thing for empty shops here some years ago but unfortunately with the drive towards opening more business parks and less people using town centres it pretty much failed.
