I Wish I Knew

Betty Grable introduced "I Wish I Knew" (Harry Warren - Mack Gordon) in the Betty Grable and Dick Haymes 1945 film "Diamond Horseshoe" filmed in the actual Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe Manhattan nightclub.

In early 1945 Dick Haymes charted at number six with "I Wish I Knew". Dick was born in Argentina, lived most of his life in the United States of America and spent his last years in Ireland.
