Second Avenue
Self-taught musician, composer and session guitarist, Tim Moore's first solo album was "Second Avenue" in 1974 which obviously featured the single. When it was released his record company closed up shop and despite getting charted the single didn't climb too high reaching the top sixty on Billboard.
Singer/actor Art Garfunkel's top thirty cover of "Second Avenue" was issued almost at the same time as the Tim Moore 45. The Garfunkel single hit the top ten on the adult contemporary chart.
