Più che una cascata, sembra un velo, una tenda, che in parte nasconde la vista di un paesaggio che, comunque, si apre ai nostri ochhi. Tutto ci appare irreale, fuori dai nostri canoni estetici, forme, colori e perfino il cielo. Veramente un altro mondo !

In effetti questa cascata è nota anche come "la Cascata Liquida" o "Il Velo di Sposa", caro Fabio.
Hai ben descritto l'Islanda, dove nulla è simile a ciò a cui i nostri occhi sono abituati a vedere. Come vedi, non ho resistito a portare anche questa immagine con me, perché in qualche modo simboleggia la stessa Islanda, che come sai, mi porto dentro.

True! it was windy and rainy that day, but we enjoyed the place immensely all the same.

It looks like a veil ... I imagine that the noise of the falling water must have been impressive.
