Dato l'effetto prospettico, sembra che la scalinata, invece che alla reggia, porti direttamente al cielo nuvoloso.
Invece che una "stairway to heaven", quindi, parlerei di una "stairway to ... hell" !
Battutaccia a parte, apprezzo molto la composizione che risulta interessante nonostante metta quasi in secondo piano il famoso edificio.

Grazie caro Fabio! La Reggia di Versailles è volutamente messa in secondo piano, almeno in questo scatto. Il cielo e la luce mi hanno colpito , l'impressione che ho avuto è di trovarmi davanti a due scalate , una terrena e una ...celeste!

Most people would have made the Palace the main event of the photo, Adele, so I appreciate your point of view. Lovely stairway and sky.

Thank you Amelia. I must confess that I focused on the Palace in many other shots. This picture is different as my intention was to capture it as a link between the earth and the sky. I was helped by the special light of that afternoon.
